Apply today and become a part of a healthcare community that values your skills and dedication!Pay Rate: $42.00 per hourShift/Schedule: 7-7 PM P RNLocation: Hammond, LAWhy Choose TBC Healthcare Solutions?Competitive Pay: Holiday pay and overtime available.Weekly Pay: Direct deposit for your convenience.Safe Work Environment: Low staff-to-patient ratio.Referral Incentives: Unlimited earning potential for referrals.Dedicated Support: 24/7/365 local internal support staff.Position Requirements:At least 1 year Med/Surg Experience Required.Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.Assists physicians with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.Administers and controls narcotics and medication as ordered by physician.Administers blood products, IV medications and TPN.Provides health care instruction/education to patient and family members.Maintains patient records and charts to ensure an accurate record of the patient's medical treatment via EMR.Participates in the planning and implementation of the patient's care.Coordinates post-operative discharge. Ensures that patient is ready for discharge.Explains medications in criteria. Ensures that patients understand post-operative instructions.Checks identification of patient, including surgical permit, lab work, x-ray reports, and allergies.Reports any change in physical status of patient.Responds quickly in any circumstance and cares for patients professionally and courteously.Credential Requirements (to be verified after interview):Active BLS CertificationActive ACLS CertificationCurrent TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-RayHep BMMRVaricellaAbout Us:TBC Healthcare Solutions is a locally owned medical staffing agency- operating out of Metairie, LA and serving the Greater New Orleans area.
