About Us:
Cunningham Childrens Home is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn, heal, and grow. We are seeking a dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment at Circle Academy Rossville.

Position Summary:
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the school building according to established schedules and quality standards. This role supports a positive learning environment by ensuring all areas of the building are safe, sanitized, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the school building

  • Complete floor care projects, including carpet extraction, buffing, and stripping/waxing

  • Restock and maintain cleaning supplies

  • Use custodial equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuums

  • Follow agency safety procedures and confidentiality standards

  • Model Cunninghams core values of spirituality, teamwork, integrity, and respect

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid drivers license

  • Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with staff

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 4460 lbs., bend, stoop, climb stairs, and walk distances as required

  • Must pass required background checks and drug testing
