Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating RoomWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room unit. This position involves working a Wednesday to Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with an expectation of 5-6 on-call shifts per month.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 23Number of Staff: 85+Patient Ratios: 1:1Electronic Medical Records: MeditechStaffing StructureThe unit is staffed 24/7 with responsibilities divided between day and night shifts:Day Shift: Charge nurses, coordinators, nurse managers, transport, RNs, CSTs, and OR assistants.Night Shift: Charge nurse, 2 RNs, 2 CSTs, anesthesia tech, and OR assistants.Typical ProceduresNeuro / Spine surgeriesOrthopedic procedures – trauma, total joint replacements, and revisionsRobotic surgeries (gyn, colorectal, thoracic, urology)Plastic surgeriesTrauma – Level 1QualificationsMust-have skills:OrthopedicsNeuro / SpineRoboticsPlastic surgeryTrauma experiencePersonality FitThe ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Dress CodeScrubs should be in either ceil blue or royal blue for nurses.On-Call and Weekend RequirementsOn-call shifts are required, with staffing available for 10 and 12-hour shifts.Experience RequiredMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
