PT Sales Associate - Fashion Valley

Position Summary Marc Jacobs International seeks a Sales Associate for its Fashion Valley store in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on driving sales and providing outstanding client service, engaging in clienteling, and supporting store operations. Responsibilities Consistently achieve or exceed individual and store sales and other commercial KPIs. Maintain a guest‑ready store environment where clients feel comfortable and welcomed. Build sales to achieve KPIs by positioning yourself as a styling expert with deep knowledge of seasonal trends and product offerings. Guide clients through the different stages of the client journey and demonstrate core behaviors that foster a unique, elevated experience, aiming to drive repeat business. Show comprehensive knowledge of the Marc Jacobs Universe, including product, brand DNA, and brand pillars. Document client data, cultivating new and existing relationships. Initiate regular client contact and provide timely follow‑up on sales, events, or inquiries. Promote collaboration and open communication with colleagues and management. Maintain an attitude of curiosity, continuously learning, and seeking feedback from peers and managers. Ensure that both the sales floor and stockroom are organized and well‑maintained. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or a related customer‑service role. Experience generating sales and building client relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellence by exceeding client expectations with passion and empathy. Entrepreneurial mindset: embraces change and new opportunities while staying true to the brand DNA. Creative, innovative, and collaborative with an openness to disruptive ideas. Strong organizational, follow‑up, and time‑management skills. Passion for the Marc Jacobs brand and product line. Computer skills, including POS operation and Microsoft Office proficiency. Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Salary & Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour , depending on relevant skills and experience.
