Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join their team in Minneapolis, MN on a long-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience delivering data solutions using cloud and big data technologies, and should be able to articulate how they have applied each technology to meet specific business requirements. A background in financial services, particularly brokerage, is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows on AWS
• Work with large-scale databases and cloud data platforms to support business capabilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
• Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines

Required Skills

• ETL / Data Tools: PySpark
• Cloud: AWS - S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, EMR Serverless, Step Functions, Athena, EC2, CloudFormation Template, SNS Topic
