We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in Bloomington, MN supporting our client.

What You Will be Doing:

Senior Engineers will lead the planning, design, and development tools, machines, and accessory products for the HVAC/R markets both for new product introduction and improving on current designs with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions generally involving the largest and most important work on projects.

• Leads other engineers in thedesign of individual tools and machines including acting as the lead onsome projects
• Evaluates the progress andresults of projects they lead
• Owns the project level goalsinvolving multiple engineers and helps to break down ambiguous tasks intosmaller units, establishing clear milestones for progress measurement
• Mentor Engineer I, II, and IIIswith their projects coaching them through complex issues andproblems
• Provide technical leadershipbringing design concepts to production solutions as the subject matterexpert in their area
• Supports department goals bydesigning test plans and performing testing
• Provides advanced production linesupport
• Develops product specificationsfor Ritchie Engineering product ideas
• Works with vendors to ensureaccurate component specifications and dimensional requirements are metupon receipt
• Supports new productiondevelopment reporting on work completed at department, new product, andstage gate meetings
• Transforms initial rough productdesigns into working production ready documents
• Updates released productiondocumentation utilizing documented change processes
• Develop Bill of Materials thatwill be entered into business system using ECM Process
• Responsible for interviews,selection, onboarding, time approval, time off calendar management,performance reviews, and addressing performance concerns of up to twodirect reports
• Other duties as assignedincluding training others on known processes

What You Will Bring:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 8 years of progressivelydemanding experience in new product design
• Understanding of the new productdevelopment process
• Ability to effectivelycommunicate technical information to an audience in a presentation setting
• Knowledge of lean principles
• 3D CAD Knowledge
• Electrical: Experience with lowvoltage printed circuit board assembly (PCBA)
• Electrical: Experience withcircuit design
• Electrical: Experience withelectronic design automation software
• Proficiency in reading andwriting in English
• Highly organized, self-motivatedand can work independently
• Must be highly self-motivated,work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in afast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal andleadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both writtenand oral) with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

• Infor ERP experience
• EPA 608 Certification
• SolidWorks experience
• DBWorks or Enterprise PDMexperience
• Electrical: Experience withelectronic design automation software library setup
• Electrical: Design experienceusing Bluetooth communication
• Electrical: HVAC Sensorexperience e.g. pressure, temperature, etc.
