OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Baltimore, MD by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Work nationwide hauling dry van freight for a driver-focused carrier operating from Baltimore. You’ll run OTR solo routes, manage long-haul lanes, and ensure on-time, compliant delivery while upholding HMD’s safety-first approach.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Operate company dry van tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on interstate lanes.
• Secure and inspect cargo, complete accurate logs and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery windows and maintain professional customer contact.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to clean inspections.
