This role focuses on ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications in strict compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Verify compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations for accuracy against master formula worksheets Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance Ensure compliance with USP guidelines and other state and federal regulations applicable to sterile and non-sterile compounding Oversee cleaning and garbing procedures to meet company standards Perform necessary calculations and maintain detailed documentation Operate and monitor all production and technical computerized equipment in accordance with policy Prepare work areas thoroughly to support efficient and sterile production Conduct quality control testing and inspections to confirm medication purity, potency, and accuracy Stay current on new compounding methods, formulations, and technologies through ongoing professional development Schedule Options: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM OR 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (may be assigned) Qualifications: Recent pharmacy experience, with a strong focus on sterile compounding Sterile compounding experience is mandatory Open to new graduates ready to start their compounding career This contract-to-hire position offers a chance to work in a specialized environment dedicated to high-quality compounded pharmaceutical products.
