Technical Product Specialist

IN-OFFICE POSITION | ORLANDO, FLORIDA

This is a full-time, in-office position at our Orlando, Florida office. Remote and hybrid work are not available for this role. Applicants must currently reside within commuting distance of our Orlando office. The Technical Product Specialist develops deep technical expertise in QuoteWerks and serves as a bridge between Development, Support, Training & Documentation, Sales, and our customers. This role investigates complex product and integration issues, helps validate product quality, and ensures technical knowledge is shared effectively across the organization. This is not a frontline Technical Support role. The Technical Product Specialist focuses on complex escalations, product validation, integration expertise, technical investigation, and cross-functional product knowledge. Responsibilities Develop deep working knowledge of QuoteWerks, including product architecture, workflows, configuration, integrations, and common customer environments. Perform hands‑on product validation of new features, bug fixes, integrations, and workflows, with particular focus on real‑world customer scenarios and regression risk. Serve as a technical escalation point between Support and Development by investigating complex issues, reproducing problems, gathering diagnostic information, and clearly communicating technical findings and customer impact. Work with Development to validate fixes and proposed solutions before release, including testing across relevant environments, integrations, and workflows. Maintain the access, tools, test environments, VMs, and other resources needed to investigate and reproduce technical issues independently. Develop strong expertise in QuoteWerks CRM, PSA, accounting, distributor, API, and other technically significant integrations and services, including Online Ordering, Etilize, Content Server, and related product infrastructure. Investigate and help resolve complex or escalated product and integration issues, particularly those that cross Support, Development, integrations, or customer environments. Communicate product changes to Support and Training & Documentation, including what changed, why it matters, expected behavior, troubleshooting considerations, and what should be documented or communicated to customers. Assist Sales with technically complex prospects, integrations, workflows, demonstrations, and product questions when deeper product expertise is required. Identify recurring customer, integration, or product issues and surface patterns and opportunities for product, documentation, training, or process improvements. Serve as a technical product resource across the organization, helping reduce reliance on individual employees as the only source of knowledge for specialized areas of the product. Document technical findings, troubleshooting approaches, and product knowledge so that information can be reused across the organization. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate enjoys figuring things out, stays calm when troubleshooting difficult issues, and takes ownership of problems through resolution. This person should be technically curious, comfortable working across departments, and able to translate complex technical issues for both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong candidates will have: Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting, implementing, testing, or troubleshooting business software. The ability to reproduce and clearly document complex software issues. Comfort working with APIs, integrations, databases, logs, test environments, and related technical tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with customers, Support, Development, Sales, and other internal teams. The ability to work independently while knowing when to elevate or involve others. Experience with CRM, PSA, accounting, CPQ, or other integrated business software is a plus.
