Phlebotomist w/Testing
$19.25 - $26.41 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a licensed phlebotomist for its Yakima, Washington patient service center. The role involves blood specimen collection, moderate-complexity testing, patient service, and administrative duties Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and related analyses
- Perform moderately complex CLIA-regulated testing and specimen preparation
- Enter patient data and billing information accurately and process payments
- Provide superior customer service and maintain specimen information logs
Requirements
- Valid Washington State-issued phlebotomy license
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
- Customer service orientation and independent work capability
- Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays
Compensation: $19.25–$26.41 per hour
