- Comfortable with repeated daily catheterization of both males and females
- Experience with suprapubic catheter changes


Description:
This is a Clinic RN role in a growing urology clinic.
The RN in this role should possess highly rated catheter skills.
The RN should also be highly rated on a skills checklist for all urology-related tasks.
In this position, you will be responsible for daily catheterizations of both males and females.
You will also perform suprapubic catheter changes.
Patient diagnoses include: cancer (prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, penile), incontinence, BPH, erectile dysfunction, renal calculus, voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, urinary retention, male UTI, circumcision, and undescended testicles.
The RN will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including infants, adults, and geriatrics.
Special procedures in this role include urinary catheterization and urodynamic studies.
Experience with the EPIC charting system is required.
You will collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
The daily census is approximately 100 visits, with an average of 15 patients seen per day.
The clinic has 14 rooms dedicated to patient care.
This role does not require weekend or on-call shifts.
Candidates should be prepared to meet patient care demands effectively.
References are required covering previous supervisory experience within the last three years.
Travelers must be flexible and may be expected to float between sister facilities, if needed.
