Multifamily Housing Project Architect

This position offers the flexibility to work from any of our JLG office locations: Minneapolis MN, Fargo ND, Grand Forks ND, Bismarck ND, Sioux Falls SD, Alexandria MN, St Cloud MN, Rapid City SD, and Williston ND. Key Responsibilities Conduct bi-weekly reviews of project deliverables, collaborating with the Team Lead Manager. Manage teams of up to 20, including consultants, maintaining effective coordination throughout the design process. Ensure accountability for consultant coordination milestones and timelines. Deliver results that meet or exceed client expectations while adhering to budgetary and staffing constraints. Sign off on full project deliverables, assuring each phase is executed to the highest standards. Mentor and train Job Captains and Project Associates, promoting their professional growth through guided project experiences. Oversee construction administration phases and ensure compliance with JLG change order benchmarks. Lead efforts in Design Excellence, incorporating rigorous analysis and sustainability practices into projects. Resolve challenges to maintain design integrity, code compliance, and best practices in construction. Exemplify integrity and uphold JLG values at all times, completing tasks with quality and timeliness. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5 years of architecture experience with at least 3 years specifically in multifamily housing. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university, with current architectural licensure. Proven expertise in project budget management and accountability for financial outcomes. In-depth knowledge of building codes, building science, and construction feasibility. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing projects valued at up to $100M. A comprehensive project portfolio demonstrating experience with a minimum construction value of $350M.
