Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Position in Greater Madison We are working a newly created Staff Accountant position for a well-established Non-Profit/Healthcare Company in the Madison area. This position will have a direct line to the CFO, so you will have some great high level exposure. This is the type of organization that people are proud to say they work for. Responsibilities Prepares and enter journal entries to the general ledger. Assist with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities. Assist with other accounting functions such as taxes, periodic and yearly financial reports. Assists with special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses. Assists with external audits of agency's accounts. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports.
