Phlebotomist Trainee

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomy Trainee for its Kennewick patient service center. The role combines part-time intake work with fully funded phlebotomy training, leading to state licensure and career advancement into a phlebotomy position.
Responsibilities
- Attend phlebotomy school full-time for 30 days post-hire, funded by employer
- Observe phlebotomy collections in patient service centers to prepare for role
- Schedule appointments, greet patients, and assist with registration and check-in
- Perform data entry for patient demographics, billing, and insurance verification
- Collect and prepare specimens and verify test orders with physician offices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Proficient typing and computer skills
- Alpha-numeric data entry proficiency
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
Compensation: $17.75 per hour
