Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,635 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery Department nurse in the area is responsible for providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The role involves managing high acuity obstetric patients, including handling complex cases with minimal supervision, and working within a busy, diverse hospital environment. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026. Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care, BLS and NRP certifications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, EPIC electronic medical record system, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal protocols. Float: Float rotation may be required to Issaquah Campus and Edmonds Campus postpartum and labor and delivery units. Additional Information: Candidates must have recent charge nurse experience, patient ratio experience, and proficiency with charting in EPIC. Must be flexible to work a diverse patient population with high acuity needs, managing postpartum treatments and complex obstetric procedures. Must be able to handle census surges and manage multiple patients including a 4th couplet when needed. Submittal Requirements: Candidates must respond to questions about prior experience at Providence facilities and provide two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years. Must acknowledge policy statements regarding float, communication devices, and RTO requests.
