We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a hospital in Savannah, GA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. This role supports the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with duties that include independent ventilator management, non-invasive and invasive respiratory therapies, and neonatal respiratory support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Neonatal ICU or Pediatric ICU critical care experience required.
• Experience managing ventilated pediatric/neonatal patients using Servo-U and Drager VN500 ventilators.
• Experience with neonatal equipment and therapies including Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, nitric oxide, and heliox therapy.
• Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation modalities including BiPAP and CPAP.
• Experience documenting in Epic preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital NICU with high-acuity neonatal patients.
• Additional pediatric respiratory certifications or advanced neonatal training preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0700 (12-hour shift).
• Unit: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Neonatal RRT responsibilities.
