A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Marlton, NJ, location. The ideal candidate will have 3‑4 years of civil litigation experience, particularly in the defense of third‑party auto matters. Job Overview The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in civil litigation matters, specifically focusing on the defense of third‑party auto cases. The role involves handling all aspects of litigation, including case management, legal research, discovery, and court appearances. Duties Represent clients in civil litigation cases, primarily focusing on third‑party auto matters. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice to clients. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, including trial preparation and court appearances. Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes. Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout the litigation process. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey. 3‑4 years of civil litigation experience, focusing on defending third‑party auto cases. Knowledge of New Jersey no‑fault law and insurance laws. Experience in civil discovery litigation procedures. Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Trial experience in civil litigation matters. Familiarity with electronic discovery processes and tools. Experience with mediation and arbitration proceedings. Education & Certifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
