Cybersecurity Ops

DescriptionSAIC is seeking experienced and security-cleared personnel to support the Air Force's Air Operations Center (AOC) Falconer Weapon System team as a Cybersecurity expert to work on a cloud-based initiative that will allow the Air Force to enable cloud solutions for non-cloud-based applications. This is an important role to safeguard and ensure that newly cloud enabled solutions are compliant to the DoD and USAF standards as required. Responsibilities include but not limited to: The System Cybersecurity must ensure that all system and application deliverables meet the requirements of all DoD and Air Force Cybersecurity policies as identified in the following paragraphs.Ensure that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoD 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 33-200, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.Ensure that cybersecurity policy is implemented correctly on systems, Contractors shall ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and AFI 33-210, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.Support activities and meet the requirements of DoDI 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key (PK) Enabling, in order to achieve standardized, PKI- supported capabilities for biometrics, digital signatures, encryption, identification and authentication.Install/maintain/support Assured Compliance Assessment System (ACAS) and Host Based Security System (HBSS) and associated point products.Support deployment of CI/CD pipeline security-related Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Configuration as Code (CAC).Utilize AWS tools to troubleshoot and fix security-related issues with AWS configurations, as well as ec2 instances and enhance the overall security of the systems put in the cloud on AWS.Conduct STIG reviews of windows- and linux-OS based systems and various applications (e.g. MS Exchange, MS SQL, Citrix Infrastructure component systems, etc.); leverage automation tools to simplify the work.QualificationsEDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Minimum of nine (9) years’ experience with cybersecurity, information assurance, and certification and accreditation including at least 2 years in a DoD environment with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Over four (3+) years of experience implementing vulnerability assessment and conducting data analysis.Active Secret Clearance; Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Knowledge of Cyber Situational Awareness, to include Security Information and Event Management (SIEM: Atc, Splunk, Elastic Stack, etc.) and other cyber tools.SEC+ certified, CISSP certified desired.Job Field: CyberTravel: No
