This person will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks related to the setup, configuration, security and troubleshooting of various IT systems and components. The successful candidate will have experience working with global teams and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment. You should always maintain a positive attitude and be flexible in providing technical support to end-users and collaborating with other IT stakeholders.Location:Boston, MA (hybrid, 4 days/wk in office)What You'll Do:Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software components, including servers, workstations, laptops, phones and additional networking equipmentManage IT (A/V) setup in office for global virtual calls, meetings, group sessions. This includes assisting with Audio/Visual, Zoom & MS Teams meetings for global All-Hands meetingsMaintain and update operating systems, applications, and firmwareAdminister network access switches and WIFI infrastructure for end-user's network enablementAssist in the maintenance and inventory of all equipment, consisting of but not limited to PCs, monitors, laptops, printers, and other componentsManage IT setup for onboarding and offboarding for all US employees, both remote and on-siteConfiguration and maintenance of policies, settings and packages within the Office 365 ecosystem (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.), Entra ID, SSO, MFA supportAssist with implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect against threats and breachesMonitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in a timely mannerMaintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and proceduresGenerate reports on system performance, security, and utilizationBe our on-site point of contact to help manage IT vendors and service providersWork closely with other global IT professionals & teammates, including network engineers, database administrators, and cybersecurity expertsCollaborate on IT projects and initiativesBe flexible & adaptable across all time zones with a focus on the USWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience5+ years' proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or in a similar roleAbility to work in a global team setting, previous global experience is a plusExperience with Windows OS/Apple MacOS family at the level of advanced user (cmd, driver and software installation)Experience managing A/V equipment, including preparation for All-Hands meetings, board meetings, webinars, etc.Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration console with command line experience (PowerShell)Experience with Jira Service ManagementExperience administering tools like Zoom, Slack, Dropbox and moreAbility to research and make recommendations given a set of technical and non-technical requirementsEagerness to collaborate with stakeholders outside of IT (e.g. HR, Marketing, Product, Sales, G&A and executive leadership)Experience facilitating virtual meetings with internal and external stakeholders and partners for executive leadership teamsAbility to work autonomously and confidently make decisions on your ownMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environmentMust possess a positive attitude and be extremely flexible when it comes to assisting othersStrong presentation and communication skillsMust be able to multi-task, be a jack of all trades and have fun doing itWho We Are:Our Core Values: Authenticity, Grit and Empathy are at the heart of everything we do at HYCU. All our employees participate in our equity program.Pay TransparencyThe anticipated cash compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 annually. The cash compensation package includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HYCU's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all roles are eligible to participate in HYCU's equity plan and benefits program. Individual compensation packages are determined by a combination of factors unique to each candidate, including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations.
