Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an LPN Supervisor in Pittsford, NY ! This role is in person / onsite at an Assisted Living Facility. Type: Ongoing Contract with possibility for full time hire Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:00PM – 11:30PM Pay: $34.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience Specialty: Assisted Living Facility Responsibilities of the LPN Supervisor Assist in the planning, development, organization, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of resident care services, including medication assistance, in accordance with current regulations, Department of Health (DOH) requirements, and community policies. Ensure Resident Care Assistants (RCAs) understand their responsibilities and monitor the completion of assigned duties. Collaborate with administration, medical staff, resident care teams, and other departments to coordinate and optimize resident care services. Communicate and interpret care policies and procedures to staff, residents, and family members as needed. Maintain accurate service records, resident files, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare and provide written and verbal reports and recommendations regarding resident care services to the Nurse Manager as needed. Foster positive relationships and maintain effective communication with residents and their families. Monitor and report any medication administration or supervision errors in accordance with established protocols. Report resident complaints, concerns, or grievances promptly to the Nurse Manager. Promote a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff while maintaining a calm atmosphere throughout the community. Provide training, mentorship, and support to new and less experienced team members. Participate in departmental performance evaluations and provide feedback to the Nurse Manager regarding staff performance and operational needs. Assist in identifying opportunities for service improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Report occupational exposure incidents involving bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious materials, or hazardous substances to the Nurse Manager immediately. Review resident care needs and physician orders regularly throughout each shift to ensure appropriate care delivery. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed and encourage independence based on each resident's capabilities. Encourage resident participation in ADLs according to their designated level of care, including Assisted Living Resident (ALR), Enhanced Assisted Living Resident (EALR), and Special Needs Assisted Living Resident (SNALR) programs. Attend required in-service trainings, workshops, and continuing education programs to remain current with healthcare practices and regulatory updates. Ensure staff, residents, and visitors comply with all established safety policies and procedures. Monitor adherence to infection prevention and control standards and ensure adequate supplies are available to support compliance. Ensure all staff understand and uphold resident rights and comply with HIPAA requirements regarding the confidentiality of resident health information. Assist residents with Department of Health-approved injectable medications and perform blood glucose monitoring as permitted by applicable regulations and scope of practice. Qualifications of the LPN Supervisor Active and good standing LPN license in New York 2 plus years of experience as a LPN in a care facility Supervisor or Management experience preferred BLS Certification Why work for Adecco?
