Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation; experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone); care of patients with tubes/drains; IV start skills; blood products; wound care/dressing changes.

Special Requests: Up to 6 days off may be approved, excluding holidays; time must be added to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Unit Details: Chronic diseases, CHF specialty area, mental health, addiction services for patients requiring 6 weeks of IV antibiotics, COPD, DM, wounds, geriatric care. Uses scales, GBS machine, transfer device, vein finder, EKG, crash cart, language interpreter, tele-medicine cart for online assessments of patients, and doppler.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call required. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. 6-week schedules.

Floating Requirements: Within region and scope of practice. Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only)); could float to any of the facilities within the region if the need arises. If floating mid-shift, traveler will remain on the clock for travel time between facilities.

6 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
