It all starts with our purpose and then, The Five Below Way, which is our values and behaviors that each and every associate believes in.It’s all about culture at Five Below, making this a place that can inspire you as much as you inspire us with big ideas, super energy, passion, and the ability to make the workplace a WOWplace!Location: Ship Center Arizona or Ship Center Texas HybridQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in domestic transportation management, preferably in a supervisory role.Strong understanding of transportation regulations, compliance, and safety standards.Excellent communication, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.Proficient in using transportation management software (Manhattan TMS preferred) and other relevant tools.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Problem-solving skills to address issues related to shipments and transportation.Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement efficient domestic transportation strategies to meet organizational objectives.Collaborate with carriers and other logistics partners to negotiate rates and service contracts.Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize transportation costs and enhance overall efficiency.Supervise a team of transportation coordinator, providing guidance and support as needed.Analyze transportation data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and performance metrics.Leverage TMS to optimize routes and transportation methods to enhance efficiency and reduce overall transportation costs.Resolve transportation-related issues, including delays, damages, and discrepancies, in a timely manner.Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve transportation processes.Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to Five Below Ship Center, Store or final destination.Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients to provide updates and resolve transportation-related queries.Monitor and analyze transportation performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the overall domestic transportation network.Explore our benefits site to discover all the perks and support we offer!
