RN - TELE

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry/PCU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00).

The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse population of Medical Surgical Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit patients. The role includes monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and observe patient reactions.
• Assist in procedures and maintain equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document accurately in the medical record using Cerner charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry/PCU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Preferred experience with Cerner charting system.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.
