Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handling surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, facilitating discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
