Assembly Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling quick release couplings, operating assembly equipment, and ensuring all products meet our quality standards. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high production standards and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assemble quick release couplings efficiently and accurately.
- Operate all assembly equipment with precision.
- Package completed assemblies for shipment, ensuring protection and accuracy.
- Verify the function and performance of the assembled products.
- Engage in continuous improvement opportunities and assist in the implementation using A3 and 3-legged 5 why tools.
- Ensure all processes meet quality standards.
- Follow standard work procedures and work instructions diligently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment using the 5S principles.
- Work safely and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a minimum 90% daily attainment level.
Essential Skills
- Experience in assembly, production, and packing.
- Proficiency with hand tools and machine operation.
- Mechanical assembly skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good dexterity and attention to detail through visual inspection.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced work environment.
- Motivated with a can-do attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, packaging, and machine operating.
- Familiarity with the use of various hand tools.

Work Environment
This role is based in a well-lit, clean, and climate-controlled environment that is highly organized. We offer two shifts: 1st shift from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm and 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. The facility invests significantly in new equipment, including automation and CNC machines, ensuring you work with advanced technology. The work primarily involves bench-type assembly.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rice Lake, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
