Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience providing outpatient-style and restorative therapy in a SNF environment preferred. Current documentation and electronic medical record experience preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility Shift Name: Days Shift Details: Days 0800-1630. Work Days: Sunday through Saturday (per VMS work days listing). Assignment Length: 14 week contract. Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week. Location Highlights Fall River, MA offers coastal history and accessible outdoor recreation. Battleship Cove is a maritime museum featuring the USS Massachusetts and is within the city waterfront area, less than 5 miles from downtown attractions. The nearby Massachusetts coastline and Mount Hope Bay provide boating and fishing opportunities within a 10-minute drive. For state parks, Freetown-Fall River State Forest is approximately 15 miles northwest and offers hiking, mountain biking, and seasonal swimming. Providence, RI is about 20 minutes away by car, offering Amtrak and regional transit connections, theater districts, and urban dining. The area suits clinicians seeking a mix of coastal, suburban, and small-city living with historic districts and outdoor options.
