As a Medical Asst-Cert, you¿ll play a vital role in supporting patient care by assisting with examinations and treatments under the direction of physicians or advanced practice providers. Your work ensures smooth clinic operations and enhances the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.

What You Will Do

• Assist with treatments ordered by providers under supervision.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining records.
• Order and stock supplies, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
• Document provider encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Medical Assistant certification obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date (any issuing authority accepted).
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
