Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acuity Adaptable ICU position requiring critical care skills including CRRT and sheath pull competency.

Details

• Work in the Critical Care Unit, an acuity adaptable unit rather than a pure ICU setting
• Manage post cath patient population
• 13-week contract assignment
• Shift schedule of 07:00-19:30
• Requires working every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (WI or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ICU experience required, including post cath patient care
• CRRT experience required
• Competency in sheath pulls and PA catheters required
• Balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to an adaptable unit patient population including post cath patients
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
• Candidates must be able to speak with managers about extension possibilities as end date approaches
