Massage Therapist at Westside Well Job Description This is the job you want. Pay is commission based, and increases yearly. Our staff earns $54 to $70 for an hour massage (depending on experience level), plus tips. Staff are paid more, up to $88, for an hour medical massage with SOAP notes. Must be available for at least three shifts per week, long enough for at least three one-hour massages. We pay commission based on the regular price per session, regardless of whether the client gets a discount. The longer you work for us, the higher your commission. We specifically seek therapists experienced and talented at myofascial bodywork and deep tissue massage. Interest and a willingness to train in myofascial or structural bodywork is acceptable too. We sometimes do short sessions; some people book frequent short sessions to better resolve their complaints. We need our therapists to be comfortable doing effective short sessions - even just 15 minutes. We believe there's a lot of work to be done to decolonize the field of wellness.
