Analytical problem solver needed at Johnstone Supply!Our Lancaster, PA team is hiring an experienced HVAC Inventory Data Analyst - Travel Required to join us full-time and enhance our inventory management strategies.Depending on experience, you'll earn $55,000 to $65,000 per year.You'll also enjoy generous benefits, such as:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePrescription coverage401(k) with matchCompany-paid life insurancePaid holidaysGenerous PTOSupportive and respectful environmentIf this sounds like the right position for you, keep reading.WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR HVAC INVENTORY DATA ANALYST:Bachelor's degree in a field like statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering3+ years of experience in inventory, operations, or supply chain analyticsHVAC Experience preferred Advanced Excel proficiency, with knowledge of macros, pivot tables, and Power QueryExceptional data analysis skills and comfort with statisticsAnalytical problem-solving abilitiesWorking knowledge of inventory management and supply chain methodologiesAbility to use visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to present data insightsComfort using inventory management software and an ERP system like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuiteKey Performance IndicatorsInventory turnoverStockout and order fulfillment ratesCarrying cost of inventoryForecasting and inventory accuracyWHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE:In collaboration with internal operations, procurement, and warehouse teams, our Inventory Data Analyst is responsible for forecasting inventory needs to maintain optimal stock levels and support company profitability. You'll closely analyze inventory data to identify patterns and areas for improvement. Through effective data analysis, you'll provide valuable insights to management and support accurate demand forecasting.You'll monitor inventory records, validate data, and strategically plan replenishment orders. If you identify any record discrepancies, you'll investigate and perform root cause analysis of the issue. You'll develop strategies for continually optimizing our inventory management procedures and systems, find ways to reduce carrying costs and stockouts, and track metrics to measure your performance.
