Glenn Food Company is the small but mighty team behind Merman’s Revenge® and Datilgator® , rapidly growing CPG brands with national distribution and international growth on the horizon. We’re a scrappy, ambitious, food-obsessed team that moves fast, thinks big, wears multiple hats, and has fun doing it. We’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Specialist who wants more than an established corporate role; we want someone excited to help build something with us. You’ll work directly with our Founders and play an important role in winning new customers, supporting existing accounts, executing marketing initiatives, and growing our brands. What You’ll Do No two days will look exactly the same. You’ll help: Research prospective retailers, distributors, customers, partnerships, events, and other sales opportunities Support sales outreach, follow-ups, and ongoing communication with new and existing customers Create pitch decks, sell sheets, presentations, and other customer-facing materials in Canva Help plan and execute marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, and email communications Coordinate with content creators and influencers, including assembling and shipping product and PR packages Assist with customer grand openings, trade shows, promotional events, and brand activations Conduct market, competitor, retailer, consumer, and trend research Order promotional merchandise and coordinate other marketing needs Keep sales and marketing projects, deadlines, contacts, and follow-ups organized using tools including Notion Communicate confidently and professionally with customers, buyers, partners, and vendors by email, phone, video call, and in person Jump in where needed; we’re a small team, and everyone occasionally wears a few extra hats What We’re Looking For Previous sales and marketing experience (5+ years) Someone who genuinely loves sales, marketing, goal-setting, and the thrill of reaching a target Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through Able to move quickly and efficiently without sacrificing accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Canva, Microsoft Word, and Excel Comfortable learning new technology; we use Notion, but prior experience is not required Self-motivated, coachable, receptive to feedback, and able to follow directions Able to manage multiple projects and priorities without letting things fall through the cracks Positive, solutions-oriented, glass-half-full mentality, even when things get busy Comfortable working directly with company Founders and taking increasing ownership of projects Ability and willingness to travel as needed CPG, food/beverage, grocery, retail sales, content creator/influencer, social media, event, or trade show experience is a plus. A strong eye for design and branding is also a big plus. You Must Love Food This one is actually important! Our team develops and markets food products, and we taste-test together regularly. You must love seafood so you can participate and give thoughtful, honest feedback on flavors and products. If seafood isn’t your thing, we’re unfortunately not your crew. What Success Looks Like We’re not looking for someone who is simply good at staying busy. Success means helping move the business forward by: Helping us land new accounts and create sales opportunities Maintaining excellent communication with existing customers Following up consistently so opportunities don’t fall through the cracks Completing projects accurately, efficiently, and on time Turning ideas into action and becoming someone the team can depend on to get things done Compensation, Schedule & Growth Salary: $56,000–$62,000/year, depending on experience and skill set. This is a full-time, in-office position in Jacksonville’s Mandarin area, primarily during normal business hours. There may be flexibility with hours TBD. Occasional travel may be required. We do not currently offer healthcare benefits, but we offer a substantial paid time-off package. You’ll report directly to the Founders, giving you a front-row seat to how rapidly growing CPG brands are built.
