Our unique culture fosters growth, development, education, and creativity.This position reports to Facility Manager.Responsibilities:Load & unload incoming & outgoing trucksWaste inventory management using Triumvirate designed software and computerized waste tracking systemLearn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practicesBecome familiar with packaging guidelines and disposal facility selectionDevelop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Triumvirate's Health and Safety Practices, Triumvirate's Part B permit, and EPA regulationsCommunicate effectively with end facilities as well as fellow employees to solve complex issuesWOW! internal and external customers!Become forklift trained and be able to safely operate machineryThe Facility technician frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is responsible for putting on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety sensitive.Basic Requirements:High School Degree or equivalentBasic knowledge of or desire to learn hazardous waste industrySuccessful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examinationBecome fit tested for a respirator and be comfortable wearing respirator for multiple hours a weekValid driver's licenseMust Haves:Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorshipMust have a reliable form of transportationMust be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company's commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environmentMust be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basisAbility to work overtime on a regular basisMust be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)Preferred Requirements:Prior relevant industry experienceActive HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certificationWillingness to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CD LBesides Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, we contribute to a 401k, offer a generous tuition reimbursement program, TONS of safety training for some positions with opportunities for external trainings and certifications, Mentorship & Career Succession Planning, Relocation Opportunities, Auto/Home insurance discounts, pet assistance discount plans, discounted movie passes & more!Triumvirate Environmental is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
