12-Week Contract Assignment | Primary Care or Urgent Care Experience Required Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Contract Length: 12 Weeks Location: In-Person, Patient-Facing Role Schedule: 2–3 Weekdays: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM Every other weekend required: Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Sunday 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM Possible holiday rotations required Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Position Overview A-Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a 12-week contract opportunity. This patient-facing role requires a strong background in primary care or urgent care. Candidates must have recent experience independently evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients in an outpatient clinical setting. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based care and improve outcomes for an assigned patient population. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, chronic condition management, health counseling, and follow-up care. Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Responsibilities Provide primary and family medicine evidence-based care, including: Patient assessment Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions Medication management Health counseling and education Care coordination and disposition planning Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing to support diagnosis and treatment decisions Manage chronic disease conditions while focusing on quality outcomes and preventative care Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, wellness, screenings, and disease prevention Support behavioral health and wellness initiatives Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive treatment plans Complete patient follow-up and maintain accurate clinical documentation Verify insurance information and collect patient payments Assist with administrative clinic responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures and inventory management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Required Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner Active NP/APRN license in the state where applying Active RN license in good standing Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in: Family Medicine Primary Care Practice Urgent Care BLS certification from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) required High School Diploma or GED required Must provide: Screenshot of active BLS certification Screenshot of active NP license Completed candidate questionnaire Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Preferred Qualifications Experience managing chronic disease conditions and quality measurements Experience with Electronic Medical Systems (EMS/EHR) Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice autonomously Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical care team environment Willingness to obtain additional state licensures, if required Additional Requirements This position is considered safety sensitive DEA registration application may be required during onboarding unless otherwise noted Must be comfortable practicing independently with minimal direct supervision Must be open to occasional travel beyond assigned location for float coverage, if needed Candidate Questionnaire (Required With Resume Submission) Please include responses to the following questions with your submission: Do you hold an active NP/PA license within the state where you are applying?
