Hardware Hawaii, a retail hardware and lumber business, is seeking a customer oriented and dependable individual for a full-time position as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. The individual we seek is outgoing and enjoys working with customers in providing the best possible customer service.
Position Summary:
Greets customers and assists them as required to maintain the highest level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates cash register, handles cash and charge transactions, collects money and makes change.
Assists customers with store services such as: special orders, key cutting, and handling customer returns.
Assists with telephone duties.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Friendly and outgoing with the ability to maintain a positive working relationships with all associates.
Ability to perform duties in a prompt and professional manner.
Experience in operating a cash register and cash handling helpful.
Strong customer service and communication skills helpful
Ability to work within a flexible work schedule.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Computer skills helpful.
