Position: Silver Torch Braze Operator
Pay: $28.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. Optional Overtime on Saturday mornings. 
Location: Franklin, IN

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Silver Torch Braze Operator to start immediately at $28.00 per hour. Enjoy comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

• Proactively support safety at all times, prioritizing safety first.
• Ignite and adjust gas torches (oxy-acetylene or air-acetylene) for precise, neutral flames.
• Clean metal surfaces, apply flux to prevent oxidation, and feed silver brazing alloy rods into joints using capillary action.
• Conduct visual and precision inspection of cracks, proper fill, or overheating.
• Maintain torches, tips, gas regulators, and safety equipment, reporting malfunctions.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
• Recognize and resolve practical issues, communicate effectively, and take initiative.
• Handle hazardous materials properly and perform basic finishing and polishing of products.
• Retrieve fixtures and perform cold work on metal tubes, ducts, and manifolds as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with hand tools and brazing stainless steel or similar materials.
• Ability to pass AWS silver braze certification test sample.
• Steady hand-eye coordination for handling small components and fine flame control.
• Knowledge of metal properties, temperature control, and gas pressure settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organize priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; fluent in English.
• Able to pass FAA drug screen and background check.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Preferred:

• Aerospace/Defense industry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical data.
• Experience with thin-walled materials (Stainless Steel).
