Hydro-Excavation Operator/DriverWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hydro-Excavation Operator/Driver to join our team in Channelview, TX! As a Hydro-Excavation Operator/Driver, you will be responsible for operating hydro-vacuum trucks to perform non-destructive excavation, exposing underground utilities and pipelines safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating excavation equipment, a strong safety record, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Operate hydro-excavation equipment to perform precise and non-destructive excavation using high-pressure water and vacuum systems.Safely and efficiently expose underground utilities and pipelines without causing damage.Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the best excavation approach.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydro-excavation equipment.Adhere strictly to safety protocols and site-specific guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.Maintain detailed records of daily work, including site conditions, materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.Any other duties assignedQualifications:Minimum of 1 year driving experience with CDL requiredMust have Class A or B Commercial Driver's license with Tanker endorsements.Must possess a TWIC or be able to obtain one. Basic Plus is preferredKnowledge of DOT regulationsMust have a clean Motor Vehicle Record within the last three yearsMust be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen and background checkApplicant shall agree to initial Drug/Alcohol testing and random testing thereafterStrong desire to learn and grow in a fast paced environmentStrong customer service skillsReliable transportationMust be able to communicate effectivelySafety mindedness is essential.Travel out of town and out of state to work will be required at times.Must be on-call and available to work at all times. (Due to client schedule, our operators may not work every day but must be on-call for irregular hours).Underground utility experience a plusSkills:The CDL Operator utilizes their driving skills daily to maneuver large commercial vehicles safely through various traffic and weather conditions. Knowledge of DOT regulations ensures compliance and helps maintain accurate records, which is critical for legal and safety standards. Physical stamina and attention to detail are necessary for conducting thorough vehicle inspections and securing cargo properly.
