Indoor Maintenance Technician The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking a dependable Indoor Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. This position is responsible for maintaining hotel and condominium guest rooms by responding to service calls and completing maintenance work orders. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and willing to learn various aspects of hotel maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs. Previous maintenance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a full-time, year-round position that includes a variety of employee perks and benefits. Long-Term Thinking Excellence in Execution Attitude is Everything Develop Create People Serve our team members first so they can, in turn, serve our guests and community Essential Responsibilities and Duties Maintain hotel and condominium guest rooms to ensure they are safe, functional, and guest-ready. Respond to maintenance service calls and work orders in a timely and professional manner. Replace light bulbs and lighting fixtures as needed. Replace and maintain HVAC air filters. Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks or replacing fixtures. Assist with the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Conduct routine inspections of rooms and maintenance equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety procedures. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: No minimum experience required; hotel or building maintenance experience preferred, but training is available. License: Must possess a valid driver's license. Skills: Basic knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, and HVAC systems preferred. Abilities: Must be reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with physical labor, and able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
