Desired Qualifications:

• Valid CTC Certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education—this is a strict requirement.
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly within grades 1–8.
• Demonstrated skill in managing and adapting to diverse caseloads.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to document student progress effectively.
• Excellent communication to liaise with general education staff, support personnel, and families.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet each learner’s unique needs and foster academic, behavioral, and social development.
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and specialists to support student inclusion and success within a supportive district culture.
• Track student data, provide regular reports on progress, and participate actively in IEP meetings.
• Adapt strategies and interventions as caseloads and student profiles evolve throughout the assignment.
