HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Assignment Length: 13 Shift/Workdays: 7P-7:30A Weekend – Rotating Call Requirements: No Guaranteed Hours: 36 Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years All travelers are required to float Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) Strong critical thinking skills Minimum 2-3 years or more ICU experience ACLS BLS NIH Stroke Certification Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) MICU & MSICU background IABP exposure CRRT exposure Meditech experience preferred ACTIVE TX RN License – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED Procedures performed on unit: Chest tubes, tracks, GI scopes Intubations, central lines, art lines NG Tubes, Foley Catheters, Dressing Changes Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited Unit Guidelines/Policies: Floating Guidelines Methodist Acknowledgement Form Attendance Policies Badging in and out for shift is required along with taking a full 30-minute lunch.
