Must have experience in similar industry (public accounting) and must be local to the area.

This position is suited for a well-rounded tax specialist with a strong command of financial statements and broad tax knowledge across multiple client needs. The ideal candidate brings substantial public accounting experience, thrives in a client-focused environment, and is available to work on site in the local area.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of tax filings for a range of clients while maintaining accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Analyze financial statements to identify tax implications, planning opportunities, and potential reporting issues.
• Manage client tax engagements from initial planning through final submission, ensuring deadlines and service expectations are consistently met.
• Provide practical guidance on tax matters across entity types and business situations as a versatile, generalist advisor.
• Review supporting documentation and workpapers to confirm completeness, technical accuracy, and alignment with industry standards.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, responding to questions and explaining tax positions, filings, and related financial considerations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 3 years of tax accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting environment.
• CPA preferred but not mandatory
