Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift :

Warehouse Associate Opportunity in Minooka, ILHKA Enterprises is seeking experienced Warehouse Associates with Reach Truck and Cherry Picker experience for a long-term career opportunity in Minooka, IL. This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position designed for candidates who are looking for a permanent opportunity. We are not seeking temporary employees. The goal of this position is to transition successful associates into a permanent role based on performance, attendance, safety, and business needs. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience operating Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and safe material handling practices.Responsibilities:Safely operate Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers to support warehouse operations.Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.Move, organize, and store materials throughout the distribution center.Perform put-away, replenishment, and inventory movement activities.Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including SAP, to complete inventory and order fulfillment tasks.Maintain accuracy and productivity standards while meeting daily operational goals.Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy activities.Support additional warehouse duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 2 years of Reach Truck and Cherry Picker operating experience required.Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred.Experience working in OEM, automotive, or high-volume distribution environments is a plus.Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including SAP, preferred.Strong picking and material handling experience required.Ability to work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.Must have a dependable work history with strong attendance and reliability.Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to:Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Stand and walk for extended periods.Bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.Safely climb and perform repetitive warehouse tasks.Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Work in a fast-paced distribution environment with varying temperatures and elevated noise levels.Position Details:Location: Minooka, ILShift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 11:30 AM – 8:00 PMOvertime: Available before shift start based on business needsAverage Weekly Hours: 35–38+ hours per weekPay Rate: $21.00/hour W2Contract Length: 90 days with opportunity for permanent hireThis is more than a temporary warehouse assignment.
