As part of our inpatient neurology service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with acute and complex neurologic needs.**Role Overview**As an Inpatient Neurosciences Physician Assistant, you will:* Manage all aspects of patient care for the neurology inpatient service* Perform neurological consults for both Emergency Department and in-house patients* Participate in stroke code responses and assist in acute stroke management* Coordinate discharge planning and outpatient follow-up* Collaborate closely with neurologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team membersThis is a per diem position covering all shifts.**Preferred Qualifications*** Prior neurology and/or stroke care experience**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies* Active NYS Physician Assistant License* Current NCCPA Certification* BLS and ACLS certification* NYS Infection Control Certification* DEA registration and NYS Opioid Prescriber Training CertificationJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
