Legal & Compliance Specialist

About the Role Kinzie Manufacturing is seeking a Legal & Compliance Specialist to provide legal operations, compliance, contract administration, governance, litigation support, and human resources support directly to the General Counsel. This role serves as a force multiplier for the Legal Department, supporting Kinzie's domestic and international operations while helping manage compliance programs, contract administration, legal research, regulatory monitoring, corporate governance activities, and legal operations initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment with confidential and sensitive information. This position also leverages AI-enabled tools and technology to improve legal operations, compliance monitoring, research, and process efficiency. Responsibilities Support corporate compliance, export compliance, and KYC programs Administer contracts, agreements, and legal documentation Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare written summaries and recommendations Support litigation, discovery, document management, and legal operations activities Assist with corporate governance initiatives and policy administration Support HR-related legal and compliance matters under the direction of the General Counsel Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve legal operations, compliance monitoring, research, and workflow efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business, Political Science, English, or a related field preferred Three or more years of corporate paralegal, legal operations, compliance, or related experience preferred Strong legal research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents Experience supporting compliance, governance, risk management, or regulatory programs preferred Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools and technology platforms to support research, document review, and process improvement preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Required Skills Strong legal research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documents Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems Preferred Skills Experience supporting compliance, governance, risk management, or regulatory programs preferred Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools and technology platforms to support research, document review, and process improvement preferred Pay range and compensation package Expected compensation for this position is competitive and will be based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
