Clinical Pharmacist - FT - Evenings - $7,500 Sign on Bonus - MHM

Location Miramar, Florida About the Role Coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Provides leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians and other support staff for the distribution, dispensing and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements. Responsibilities Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders, labs and other clinically relevant information to ensure safe and optimal therapeutic outcomes and documents interventions appropriately. Provides clinical pharmacy services including renal/hepatic dosage adjustment, pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, total parenteral nutrition, and antimicrobial stewardship. Supervises and delegates tasks to technicians and other support staff to ensure timely prescription/order verification, preparation, distribution, compounding and workflow coordination. Provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers including medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff. Manages and recommends drug therapy regimens as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide patient- and family-centered care. Complexity of Work Requires critical thinking skills, effective verbal and written communication, decisive judgment, and ability to work well with others in a team with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
