Position Overview The Supervisor, Clinical Services provides strategic oversight and day‑to‑day oversight of clinical operations to ensure the effective delivery of high‑quality mental health services. This leadership role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, monitoring service quality and compliance, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence and ethical practice. The Clinical Supervisor ensures services align with state regulations, Medicaid standards, and evidence‑based practices, while supporting staff development and client outcomes. This role is critical in maintaining continuity of care, promoting professional growth, and driving continuous improvement in behavioral health services. Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight & Leadership Provide clinical oversight and leadership to therapists, case managers, counselors, and other mental health professionals. Monitor staff performance and documentation to ensure quality, effectiveness, and adherence to treatment plans. Facilitate individual and group supervision sessions in alignment with Ohio licensure board requirements. Offer clinical guidance and support on high‑risk cases, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Conduct initial and ongoing QMHS training for case managers. Compliance & Auditing Ensure compliance with ODH, Medicaid, CARF, HIPAA, and other relevant regulatory bodies. Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Develop and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes. Maintain audit‑ready records and prepare clinical teams for external reviews and certifications. Corrective Action & Risk Oversight Oversee the design and implementation of mental health programs that are responsive to community needs and evidence‑based practices. Monitor program outcomes and recommend enhancements based on performance data and stakeholder feedback. Stay abreast of changes in mental health policy, funding streams, and service models in Ohio. Support integration of trauma‑informed and culturally responsive care across services. Staff Development & Performance Management Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain qualified clinical staff. Provide ongoing training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about ethical standards, clinical best practices, and Ohio regulations. Conduct performance reviews, address clinical concerns, and implement improvement plans as needed. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and high‑performing clinical culture. Client Care Coordination & Support Promote coordination of care among internal staff and external partners, including hospitals, schools, and legal systems. Assist with service delivery for high‑need or complex cases, including crisis intervention and safety planning. Ensure equitable access to services for diverse populations, including those with co‑occurring disorders or barriers to care. Address client complaints and concerns in collaboration with administrative leadership. Administrative & Strategic Duties Participate in agency leadership meetings, contributing to operational planning, policy development, and strategic growth. Oversee the equitable distribution of caseloads across clinical staff and adjust assignments based on acuity and productivity. Serve as a liaison to community stakeholders, referral sources, and funders to strengthen partnerships and expand resources. Contribute to grant proposals and agency accreditation initiatives, as needed. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health‑related field. Active, unrestricted Ohio independent licensure (e.g., LISW, LPCC, LISW‑S, LPCC‑S). Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in mental health, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Must obtain certification in First Aid, CPR, and crisis de‑escalation within 90 days of hire. In‑depth knowledge of Ohio Medicaid rules, documentation standards, and behavioral health billing practices. Valid Ohio (or Michigan) driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle with adequate insurance. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical reporting. Strong leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
