Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• At least three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
• Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
• Previous experience working within school-based settings
• Eligibility to complete fingerprinting and meet credentialing requirements before start date

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform individualized testing and educational assessments for students across various age groups
• Compile thorough, insightful reports outlining findings and recommendations
• Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student advancement
• Collaborate with school staff to implement tailored instructional strategies and interventions
• Travel between two assigned schools within the district as an itinerant specialist
