Sr. Director Value Stream

Role Description

Sr. Director Value Stream is a full-time, on-site role based in King of Prussia, PA, responsible for leading end-to-end value stream performance across manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role oversees production planning, daily manufacturing performance, and adherence to quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards to ensure reliable, efficient output. The Sr. Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, supply chain, quality, engineering, and finance to optimize flow, reduce waste, and improve service levels. Key day-to-day activities include reviewing operational metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, leading problem-solving efforts, and managing budgets and capacity plans. The role also involves building and developing high-performing teams, aligning value stream objectives with business strategy, and communicating progress and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Production Planning, with proven ability to align demand, capacity, and resources for efficient value stream execution.
• Demonstrated experience in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Operations Management, including leadership of multi-shift or multi-site operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and related quality, safety, and compliance standards within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, including inventory optimization, supplier coordination, and logistics integration with manufacturing.
• Proven track record in value stream mapping, Lean, and continuous improvement (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with experience using KPIs, dashboards, and root cause analysis tools.
• Inclusive leadership skills, with experience building, coaching, and motivating diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, APICS) are preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic, food, energy storage, or climate tech manufacturing environments is a plus.
