Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Malpractice & Products Liability Intake Specialist/Legal Assistant for a full-time, on-site role in Greater Philadelphia. Responsibilities include managing initial client intake, reviewing and processing documents, communicating with potential clients to gather relevant case information, and obtaining medical records for case evaluation. The role also involves organizing records, preparing files for attorney review, and assisting lawyers with case management and additional administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the legal team to ensure effective case handling. Qualifications Knowledge of medical fields, including Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Neurology Familiarity with treatments and medical terminology related to personal injury or malpractice cases Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks Proficiency in legal or medical office software; tech-savviness is an asset Prior experience in a legal setting, especially in medical malpractice or personal injury, is preferred High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive client information Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; paralegal certification is a plus
