PRODUCTION PLANNER
Our Production Planner is responsible for developing and executing production plans in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Ensures alignment between demand, production, and material availability. Drives schedule adherence, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop daily and weekly production schedules based on demand and capacity
- Align plans with S&OP and customer requirements to support OTIF
- Optimize line utilization and minimize downtime
- Communicate schedule changes and impacts proactively
- Ensure availability of raw materials and packaging to support production
- Partner with procurement and warehouse teams to prevent shortages.
- Monitor inventory levels and Days on Hand (DOH)
- Drive FIFO/FEFO compliance
- Execute planning activities in SAP (PP/MM)
- Manage production orders and confirmations
- Support COGI resolution and reblend processes
- Analyze SAP data for inventory and planning accuracy
- Track schedule attainment and production efficiency
- Identify root causes of production deviation
- Develop reporting tools (SAP, Excel, Power BI)
- Partner with Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service
- Communicate risks and recovery plans
- Support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 4 + years of production planning experience in manufacturing
- Strong SAP (PP/MM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be flexible with after hours and weekends
- Advanced Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS
- Attention to detail
- Analytical problem solving and strong analytical mindset
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and material usage
- Accountable and reliable
- Process discipline
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
