TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Chamberlain, South Dakota, 57325!

Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room / Med Surg

Location

Chamberlain, SD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 hours per week | 12-hour rotating shifts | Every other weekend and holiday required | On-call shifts required (3 call shifts per 13-week contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in both the Emergency Room and Medical Surgical unit, floating between departments as needed
• Function independently in the ER setting and manage a Med Surg patient load of up to 5 patients
• Utilize electronic charting and medication dispensing systems including computerized charge and automated dispensing cabinet systems
• Complete required on-call shifts as scheduled throughout the contract period
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (navy scrubs, no logos)
• Badge in and out of the facility for all shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• At least 6 months of Emergency Room experience within the past year
• At least 6 months of Medical Surgical experience within the past year
• Active BLS certification (required prior to start)
• Active ACLS certification (required prior to start)
• NRP certification required (may be completed onsite with approval)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
